| Crofters restaurant is located in
Anlaby, five miles west of Hull; close to the Humber Bridge.
Run by Mark and Tracy Hunt, the restaurant is set
in a pair of converted Victorian cottages, the restaurant is set
over two floors. The main restaurant is situated on the ground floor
and seats up to 28 people. On the first floor in the cottages former
bedrooms are three smaller dining rooms. These can be used as an
extension to the main restaurant or make the perfect place to hold a
private party, business meeting for up to 14 people.
The restaurant opens for lunch Tuesday to Friday
and Sunday, and for dinner Tuesday through to Saturday. Each evening
Crofters offers an a la carte menu and between Tuesday and Friday we
also offer a fixed price menu. |
The fixed price menu, available
between Tuesdays and Fridays gives a choice of four starters, main
courses such as pan fried sirloin steak with creamy pepper corn
sauce and a selection of sweets. The whole meal is £39 for two
people and includes a complimentary bottle of wine.
Sunday lunch is a more traditional affair with starters such as
soup, prawn cocktail and feta salad. For main course there is always
roast beef and another roast. For the-non meat eaters a fish dish
and vegetarian option are also available. For pudding there are a
range of home-made dishes on offer as well as coffee. Sunday lunch
is a very reasonable £12.95 per person. The restaurant is usually
full and so it is best to book in advance. Sunday lunch is served
between 12pm and 2pm.
There is ample parking across the road from the restaurant, which
has a predominantly non-smoking policy. |
